ALTADIS
U.S.A. PLEDGES UP TO $500,000 TO AID HURRICANE KATRINA VICTIMS.
FUNDS TO GO TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS TO SUPPORT THEIR RELIEF EFFORT.
In response
to the catastrophic aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and in recognition
of the needs of the victims, Altadis U.S.A. has pledged an immediate
$100,000 to the American Red Cross to help with their heroic efforts.
In addition, the company will match donations made by its employees,
customers and vendors up to $200,000, for a potential total of $500,000.
Altadis U.S.A. wishes to extend its thoughts and prayers to its retailer
family, customers, friends and citizens of the Gulf Coast who have
been devastated by the storm.
